Even if we don’t realize it, too many of us live a life of answering to others. The pressure to please other people never stops and the constant grind to keep all of the balls in the air is exhausting.

This leads me to question why I’m here. I wonder how the hell I arrived at this place, time, and moment in my life. Did I swallow a pill from the wrong bottle? Have I created a life that I don’t really want? There’s got to be more to this shit. And, I know I’m not the only one with these questions.

Like Neo, I want to take the blue pill, recode my life, and believe what I want to believe.

I want to live a life where pressure and expectations don’t get the best of me. I want to be passionate, the way I was created to be, instead of treated like a caged animal with restraints. I want to escape the depths of the rabbit hole in Wonderland.

I want to be heard and not judged and I want to be a man who gets to live my own definition of what it means to be a man. I want to live authentically.
